As reptiles surfaced over the oceans some 320 million years ago, they open an eye to an ever first horizon. Near Sunsight is a film that asks how such a fluid distant reality might be experienced today. The film is shot using a custom-built endoscopic device equipped with two camera lenses, a photo and light receptive membrane, sensors and a small navigation engine; the soundtrack consists of underwater high and low frequencies.
