A cultural building's auditory and pressure patterns are recorded over time, then translated into an intricate small iron cast that burns its mark into one of its own walls, thus producing a crystallized clock of the institution's circulatory and environmental systems.
Protocol
1. Located throughout the venue, specialized microphones and EKG monitors gradually record the activities of the institution.
2. Accumulated entrainment, phonographic and ventricular data is processed via an audio workstation and CGI engine producing its equivalent coin-size 3D compact model for iron casting.
3. Using the resulting cast, the artist burns an eye-level mark on the plasterboard surface of a light-colored wall inside the venue creating a site-specific clock-like crystal formation.
